TarmacView's founders spent decades measuring PAPI lights for state aviation authorities. In 2023 they left to rebuild the method itself, using drone, RTK, and AI in place of the inspection aircraft.

Jaroslav Šulc and Štefan Dusza spent decades at official aviation authorities, measuring PAPI lights and flying inspections across Europe. After hundreds of aircraft-based missions, they knew the method’s costs, delays, and emissions firsthand. They left their state positions in 2023 to replace it.
They partnered with Viktor Zeman, an AI and software expert, and Tomáš Meliško, a business strategist and investor. Together they bring aviation expertise, technical innovation, and business acumen to one founding team.
