The journey began with Jaroslav Šulc and Štefan Dusza, two seasoned aviation experts who spent decades working in official authorities responsible for measuring PAPI lights and conducting flight inspections at airports across Europe. After hundreds of missions using traditional aircraft-based inspection methods, they recognized the inefficiencies, high costs, and environmental impact of the conventional approach.
In 2023, Jaro and Štefan made a bold decision: they left their positions at state aviation institutions to pursue their vision of transforming airport infrastructure inspection through drone technology. Their deep understanding of ICAO regulations, combined with hands-on experience in flight inspection procedures, became the foundation for TarmacView’s regulatory-compliant approach.
They partnered with Viktor Zeman, an AI and software development expert with deep expertise in building advanced systems, and Tomáš Meliško, a business strategist and investor with extensive experience in scaling technology companies.
